The Council Meeting of China-Myanmar Friendship Association (CMFA) was held in Beijing on 9 January 2014. More than 60 delegates including Mr. Feng Zuoku, Vice President of CPAFFC and President of CMFA, Mr. Geng Zhiyuan, Vice President of CMFA, and Council Members of CMFA attended the meeting.
Mr. Feng highly appreciated the job done by CMFA Council Members since the re-establishment of CMFA. He said that CMFA would give better play of its NGO functions for strengthening friendship exchanges with Myanmar. Mr. Geng made a report on the CMFA’s work in 2013 and the work plan for 2014. Other delegates also gave their opinions and suggestion under the general topic of “Cooperation in All Directions for China-Myanmar Win-Win Situation”.
