On September 16th, President Li met with a three people delegation led by Chairman MOON Tae-young of Executive Committee of Jeju Forum.
President Li extended gratitude to Chairman MOON Tae-young for his thoughtful arrangement giving to CPAFFC delegation when they were invited to attend the 10th Jeju Forum. She also spoke highly of the Forum which was on the theme of “Towards a New Asia of Trust and Harmony”. She was delighted to address the Forum and express China’s commitment to peaceful development. President Li hoped that CPAFFC would work closely with its counterparts in Korea to promote the cause of friendship between peoples of China and Korea to a new height.
Chairman MOON Tae-young thanked President Li for leading a CPAFFC delegation to the 10th Jeju Forum and delivering a keynote speech at its opening ceremony this May. He expressed willingness to work with CPAFFC to promote the two countries’ exchanges and cooperation. He also hoped that CPAFFC would provide assistance in inviting Chinese leaders to attend the 11th Jeju forum held the next year.
Secretary General Qing Boming of CIFCA attended the meeting.
