On December 5, 2024, Jiang Jiang, Vice President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), met with Anthea Heffernan, Counselor for Regional Cooperation in China at the British Embassy in China; and Catriona Radcliffe, Head of the Scottish Government Office in China. The meeting, held at the CPAFFC, focused on enhancing people-to-people, subnational, and youth exchanges and cooperation between China and the UK.
Zong Linhong, Deputy Director-General of the Department of European and Asian Affairs of the CPAFFC, also attended the meeting.
