From July 17 to 19 2015, CPAFFC President Li Xiaolin attended the Photo Exhibition on Ho Chi Minh and China-Vietnam Relations and other related activities in Vietnam at the invitation of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO). During her stay in Vietnam, President Li was present at the meeting between H.E. Mr. Zhang Gaoli, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and Vice Premier of the State Council, and friendship delegates of Vietnam. President Li, together with VUFO Chairman Vu Xuan Hong, also accompanied Zhang Gaoli in his tour of the Exhibition in Ho Chi Minh Museum in Hanoi.
On the same day, Chairman Vu Xuan Hong held friendly talks with President Li on people-to-people exchanges between China and Vietnam. On behalf of VUFO, Chairman Vu awarded President Li Medal for Peace and Friendship among Nations, the highest honor of VUFO, in appreciation of the outstanding contributions made by President Li and CPAFFC in deepening China-Vietnam friendship in past years. President Li expressed gratitude for being awarded the Medal and said that the CPAFFC is willing to further its cooperation with VUFO in carrying forward the China-Vietnam friendship initiated by older generation of state leaders, promoting people-to-people exchanges in various fields, and making more achievements for the mutual understanding, friendship and well-being of our two peoples.
