The Swiss-Chinese Association (SCA) headed by former mayor of Zurich, Dr. Thomas Wagner, came to visit China from May 5th to 17th at CPAFFC’s invitation. On 5th, Mr. Xie Yuan, Vice President of the CPAFFC met with the delegation.
Vice president Mr. Xie Yuan Welcomed the delegation and thank him for his remarkeble contribution to the friendly exchanges and cooperations between China and Switzerland. He introduced the preperation work for the celebration on the 60th anniversary of the Association, and wished the delegation’s tour to Guizhou Province a success.
Dr. Wagner thanked Vice president Xie fot meeting the delegation and introduced the plans for the visit. He recalled more than 130 times of his visits to China, and expressed his best wishes for the friendship between CPAFFC and SCA.
The SCA delegation is composed of senior personages from political, business, cultural and educational circles, and will visit Guizhou Province from May 5th to 13th, and then attend the celebration of the 60th anniversary of CPAFFC on May 15th and 16th. The members will visit cities, counties and minority autonomous prefectures in Guizhou, and seek cooperation with provincial officials on economy, education and environmental protection.
