On Apr. 29th, President Li Xiaolin met with H.E. Mr. Julián Ventura, the Mexican Ambassador to China. The two sides had a causal and pleasant meeting on issues of promoting cultural exchange and local governmental cooperation between China and Mexico.
President Li said, Mexico is a large country in America, with brilliant civilization created by ancient Indian. China and Mexico are both countries with ancient civilization, and have many aspects in culture to be learnt and adapted from each other. The CPAFFC would like to join hands with the Mexican Embassy in China, to make more efforts in promoting cultural exchange, enhancing the mutual understanding and furthering the friendship between the Chinese and Mexican people.
Ambassador Ventura thanked President Li for taking time for the meeting in her tight schedule. He expressed his willingness of promoting the contact and pragmatic cooperation for the local government of the two countries beyond actively promoting the cultural exchanges.
Ji Yongjun, Deputy Director-General of Department of American and Oceanian affairs was present at the meeting.
