President Li Xiaolin met with and held a banquet for Dmitry Mezentsev, Secretary-General of Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) on February 19. The both sides had a cordial talk on developing exchanges and cooperation with each other.
Dmitry Mezentsev, the former vice chairman of Russia Federation Council and Governor of Irkutsk, took the post of Secretary-General of SCO on January 1, 2013.
Vice President Li Jianping, and Director-General Song Jingwu of Department of European and Asian Affairs attended the meeting.
