CPAFFC Delegation Headed by Vice President Jing Dunquan Visits 3 Countries in Europe

At the invitation of Switzerland-China Friendship Association, Adam Mickiewicz University in Poland and Somerset Shire in England, a 7-person CPAFFC delegation headed by vice president Jing Dunquan visited Switzerland, Poland and England from October 13th to 24th . The visit is aiming for promoting the human cultural exchanges between the CPAFFC and correlative organizations and local authorities, enhancing mutual understanding and friendship, further enlarging the fields of future cooperation. The delegation also includes the leaders of Guizhou Provincial People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.

Vice President Jing Dunquan Meeting with Beat Nobs

During the visit, Vice President Jing Dunquan respectively met with the people in charge of correlative institutions in Switzerland, Poland and England, and discussed on issues of international situation, cultural cooperation, cultural exchange and strengthening the contacts of local authorities. The meeting had achieved a series of intention for cooperation.

Meeting with Principal of Adam Mickiewicz University

In Switzerland, the delegation had working meetings with Beat Nobs, the State Secretariat of the State Secretary For Asian-Pacific affairs of Foreign Affairs Ministry of Swiss Confederation, Switzerland-China Society,and Consulate-General of China in Zurich. In Poland, the delegation contacted and had a meeting in Adam Mickiewicz University which specialized in charge of the promotion of the Polish culture. Both sides agreed to strengthen the communication and cooperation with each other, and establish the relation of long-term strategic partnership. In England, Somerset also wished to strengthen the contact with the CPAFFC on issues of economic and trading cooperation, technical training, cultural exchange and establishing friendship cities.
